[ET Net News Agency, 1 September 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 151 points lower today at 25,415. It reached a high of 25,478, down 88 points, and a low of 25,240, down 326 points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 237 points, or 0.9%, at 25,329.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$7.76b for the full day, compared to a net inflow of HK$2.14b on the previous session. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were TENCENT(00700), MINIMAX-W(00100), KUAISHOU-W(01024), ZJ INNOLIGHT(03308) and BABA-W(09988) in that order.
