[ET Net News Agency, 15 May 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$151.15 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$25.35 billion, or 16.77% of the market's turnover. There were 803 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.96 billion and HK$2.52 billion, or 19.59% and 9.96% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 40.2% and 41.18% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347) registered HK$2.04 billion and HK$654.2 million of short sales, accounting for 8.06% and 2.58% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 52.09% and 14.85% of respective stock's turnover.
