[ET Net News Agency, 22 May 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$135.67 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$20.82 billion, or 15.35% of the market's turnover. There were 769 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and LENOVO GROUP (00992) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.76 billion and HK$1.61 billion, or 8.47% and 7.75% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 18.4% and 36.09% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) registered HK$1.2 billion and HK$727 million of short sales, accounting for 5.78% and 3.49% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 30.98% and 29.2% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.3, or 1.17%, to HK$25.92. LENOVO GROUP ended up HK$2.11, or 16.05%, to HK$15.26. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.096, or 2.06% to HK$4.764. XL2CSOPHYNIX jumped HK$3.84, or 4.13%, to HK$96.9.
