[ET Net News Agency, 16 June 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$133.73 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.93 billion, or 16.4% of the market's turnover. There were 814 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.29 billion and HK$1.5 billion, or 10.46% and 6.84% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 31.32% and 39.03% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and KB LAMINATES (01888) registered HK$1.16 billion and HK$1.14 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.29% and 5.2% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 37.44% and 28.32% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.3, or 1.19%, to HK$24.94. XL2CSOPHYNIX ended up HK$7.6, or 6.27%, to HK$128.8. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.07, or 1.5% to HK$4.598. KB LAMINATES jumped HK$6.65, or 8.29%, to HK$86.85.
