There were 797 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and KB LAMINATES (01888) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.92 billion and HK$1.79 billion, or 9.82% and 9.15% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 40.32% and 8.17% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) registered HK$1.17 billion and HK$706.82 million of short sales, accounting for 6.01% and 3.62% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 28.52% and 26.56% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.08, or 0.32%, to HK$24.78. KB LAMINATES ended up HK$0.2, or 0.23%, to HK$86.1. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.014, or 0.31% to HK$4.576. XL2CSOPHYNIX jumped HK$3.75, or 2.92%, to HK$132.2.
