HK$184.62 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$24.42 billion, or 13.23% of the
market's turnover. There were 672 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and MEITUAN-W
(03690) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.08 billion and HK$1.16
billion, or 8.52% and 4.77% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 7.49% and 18.67% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.15 billion and HK$1.15 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.72% and 4.7% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 20.11% and 12.97% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.03, or 0.15%, to HK$19.94. MEITUAN-W ended down HK$0.3, or
0.17%, to HK$175.4. BABA-W 0flat to HK$90.55. HSCEI ETF jumped HK$0.04, or 0.06%, to
HK$72.54.
