[ET Net News Agency, 2 April 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$243.63
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$53.51 billion, or 21.96% of the market's
turnover. There were 847 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$12.57 billion and HK$3 billion,
or 23.49% and 5.6% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 56.23% and 41.38% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$2.65 billion and HK$2.44 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.96% and 4.57% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 33.04% and 19.1% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.14, or 0.55%, to HK$25.4. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.076, or 1.64%, to HK$4.57. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.14, or 3.56% to HK$30.88. HSCEI ETF
declined by HK$0.32, or 0.37%, to HK$86.58.
