You are cordially invited to embark on an auditory journey about youth, memory, and fate.
As the cherry blossoms flourish, the wind weaves through the branches, and petals gently whirl and fall like unposted letters, laden with nostalgia and fleeting moments of eternity. Makoto Shinkai's works always move audiences with their meticulous light and shadow play and profound emotions, and the melodies flowing behind those scenes echo countless encounters and partings, waits and pursuits.
This concert will reinterpret unforgettable musical chapters from 'Your Name', 'The Garden of Words', 'Weathering with You', '5 Centimeters per Second', and 'Suzume's Journey' with a wind band arrangement, interspersed with piano solos. Through the richness and pauses of the music, a deeper contour of emotions will be outlined.
While the wind instruments expand the realm of imagination, the piano allows thoughts to settle quietly. May we, in this season of fluttering cherry blossoms, set off again along the musical notes and, in the flow of melodies, rediscover that once-trembling touch of emotion in our hearts.
