As long as nearby residents become members of HAPI CLUB by D2 Place, they can visit the customer service counter in the lobby of the G/F office of Phase 1 of D2 Place the day after the carnival to receive a tray of flowers for the carnival flower sea, continuing the beautiful memories of the "Flower Season". “Flower Festival 2025” 2 major theme activities provide citizens with a feast of flowers from a flower perspective
The first phase of this year’s “Flower Festival 2025” is the “Flower Festival 2025 - Tulip Community Garden” held at the Jao Tsung-I Academy from mid-February to late March. It is organized by the Sham Shui Po District Office, Sham Shui Po District Council and the Hong Kong Centre for the Promotion of Chinese Culture. It uses different tulip varieties to create a colorful community garden, in conjunction with the Jao Academy’s diversified activities, to encourage citizens to actively participate.
Theme Event 1: Tulip Community Garden Theme
A collaboration between the Home Affairs Department, District Councils and Jao Tsung-I Academy, nearly 5,000 tulips of different varieties and colors were placed in the academy and were open to the public for viewing on February 14 (Valentine's Day). March is also the blooming season for the pink Bauhinias and hibiscus flowers at the Jao Kwan Temple. Together with the activities of the Jao Kwan Flower Festival, such as flower viewing photography and painting competitions, and the body, mind and spirit market, we hope to attract more residents to participate.
Theme Activity 2: Deep Duck Flower Sea Theme
Nanchang Park is a good place to enjoy the yellow bell tree. Last year's Nanchang Park Flower Sea was very popular among citizens. This year, florists and landscape architects worked together for the first time, with the participation of volunteers from the Conservancy and local families, to place 7,000 pots of colorful flowers of different varieties to create a sea of flowers in Nanchang Park from March 9 to 23.
In response to the National Games, the flower sea uses the National Games medal ribbon as its design concept, and specially adds two 3D sports shapes of the 1.5-meter-high Sham Shui Po mascot "Sham Duck", namely basketball and bicycle shapes, as well as badminton and racket floral installations to promote national sports. At the same time, spiritual healing workshops and environmentally friendly musical instrument workshops are also held to enrich the experience.

Sham Shui Po "Xun·Bu Hipster Market" will be held again on March 16 (Sunday) from 12 noon to 6 pm! The market is themed "design" and has many hipster stalls. It also collaborates with local specialty merchants and time-honored brands to create a "Sham Shui Po Mini Citywalk" experience tour, allowing citizens to experience authentic culture. The event also features an "Old Master Q fashion themed check-in device", "Xunbu blind box" surprise gifts, and an interactive workshop curated by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) to share denim craft creations; while Roche Knitwear will exhibit a special pattern exhibition inspired by authentic Hong Kong patterns (such as iron gates and step bricks), showcasing the unique charm of local design. D2 Place is part of the "Creating Shared Value" program launched by Roche Group in 2013, also known as "Designers’ Dreams". D2 Place is the first shopping mall and office building converted from an industrial building in Hong Kong. Located above Lai Chi Kok MTR Station, the entire project consists of two buildings, D2 Place Phase I and Phase II, providing more than 500,000 square feet of retail, office and event space. Different from other reverse-model shopping malls, D2 Place operates with a "startup business model", focusing resources on nurturing and supporting start-ups, young entrepreneurs and local brands. Both shopping malls also have unique event venues that regularly host various cultural and creative activities, including the well-known "Weekend Market" held every Saturday and Sunday.
